Features

What makes Bonded different.

Same question, both screens
You both see the same prompt at the same time, so neither of you has to lead.
Answer or pass
Skip any question without giving a reason. Passing is part of the game.
Bonded app avatar editor on iPhone, choosing backdrop, body, clothes, face and hair to build a character instead of uploading a photo Bonded app profile screen on iPhone showing a player's avatar, short bio and answered conversation prompts that friends can see
An avatar, not a photo
You are recognised by a character you build. Bonded never asks for a picture of your face.
Prompts on your profile
Answer prompts we write, a few lines each. Only the people you connect with can read them.
Common questions

Think a question game isn’t for you? Think again.

These are the reasons people hesitate — and why Bonded is designed around them.

“We already talk all the time.”

But updates, plans, and familiar stories can fill an evening without helping you discover anything new.

Talking isn’t always the same as connecting.

Bonded gives both of you one shared prompt that opens a new story without making either person lead.

“Question games always feel forced.”

Nobody wants a date or catch-up to feel like an interview, a test, or a shortcut to fake intimacy.

A little structure takes the pressure off.

You see the same question at the same time, so the prompt carries the moment — not one person.

“I want less screen time, not another app.”

If the phone becomes the focus, the point of being together disappears.

The screen sets up the moment, then gets out of the way.

Read the question, answer or pass, wait for each other, then put the screens down and talk.

“I don’t want every conversation to get deep.”

Not every moment needs vulnerability, and nobody should be pushed further than they want to go.

You choose the mood, depth, and pace.

Start light, turn up the spark, or pass any prompt with no explanation and no penalty.

“One of us won’t download another app.”

Requiring two installs can end a shared plan before it begins.

One host is enough.

Questions about Bonded

Is Bonded available now?+

The app is built but not publicly released. Get early access and you will be among the first in.

Is Bonded a dating app?+

No. There is no swiping, no matching, and no public profile. Bonded starts with two people who already chose to spend time together, and the science of connection is what shaped how it works.

What is Bonded building next?+

A new deck every month. Twelve are live today, including Long Distance, New Parents, Reunited, Family, and Colleagues. More are in design — these are directions, not release dates.
