These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bonded Studio, including the bonded.studio website, the Bonded Studio blog, articles, essays, newsletters, media, social prompts, educational content, downloads, digital products, interactive tools, assessments, reports, mobile applications, web guest session pages, premium features, gift-code features, help content, events, installations, campaigns, and any related services, subdomains, products, or experiences we make available (together, the “Services”).

The Services are operated by Stefanos D. Zafeiriou’s sole proprietorship with the distinctive title Saphire, based in Greece and operating Bonded Studio (“Bonded Studio,” “Sapphire Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting bonded.studio, reading our content, subscribing to a newsletter, creating an account, signing in, joining a session, purchasing or redeeming a product or gift code, starting a subscription, participating in an event or campaign, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Bonded Studio and the Scope of the Services

Bonded Studio is a connection studio for a less lonely world. Our business is not limited to one mobile app. We create and publish digital, physical, editorial, educational, media, and experiential work around human connection, intimacy, play, memory, conversation, and shared rituals.

The Services may include, without limitation, the following:

The bonded.studio website and blog, including articles, essays, educational content, prompts, guides, product pages, landing pages, creative writing, interviews, videos, and other editorial materials.
The Bonded mobile application and related web experiences, including conversation decks, hosted sessions, web guest joining, Private Pulse, Resonance Moments, Memory Capsules, Connection Insights, connection requests, pings, notifications, free features, premium features, gift codes, and promotional grants.
Interactive self-reflection flows, questionnaires, assessments, onboarding flows, reports, plans, summaries, prompts, and similar personalized or semi-personalized outputs, including any current or future experiences such as Soft Reset-style reports or connection packs.
Newsletters, waitlists, email courses, product updates, announcements, community communications, and other direct communications.
Media projects, social content, videos, podcasts, filmed sessions, public experiments, testimonials, case studies, and storytelling projects.
Events, social nights, workshops, interactive installations, QR activations, public art or design experiments, and other in-person or hybrid experiences.
Digital products, ebooks, templates, downloads, paid reports, paid content, premium passes, memberships, subscriptions, or other gated products.
Physical products that may be offered in the future, such as merchandise, art objects, cards, printed materials, lifestyle objects, or other studio products.

Some Services are available now, and others may be experimental, seasonal, limited, beta, invite-only, offered through a third party, or introduced in the future. A reference in these Terms to a product or activity does not guarantee that it is currently available.

All content and experiences are provided for creative, educational, informational, entertainment, self-reflection, and interpersonal conversation purposes. The Services are not therapy, counselling, medical advice, crisis support, legal advice, financial advice, or any other professional service. If you are in danger, in crisis, or need medical, mental health, or emergency help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

2. Definitions

For clarity:

“Account” means an authenticated user profile used to access part of the Services.

“App” means the Bonded mobile application and related mobile experiences.

“Assessment” means any questionnaire, onboarding flow, quiz, set of prompts, or similar interactive flow presented through the Services.

“Bonded Studio Content” means all text, prompts, questions, decks, articles, essays, graphics, illustrations, logos, videos, audio, designs, software, reports, summaries, templates, products, and other materials made available by or for Bonded Studio.

“Checkout Provider” means the payment, app-store, merchant-of-record, billing, or commerce provider shown to you at checkout or in the applicable purchase flow, such as Apple, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, or another provider.

“Digital Product” means a paid or free digital item, such as an ebook, report, template, premium pass, connection pack, download, assessment result, or gated content.

“Physical Product” means merchandise, printed materials, art, cards, objects, or other tangible goods that Bonded Studio may offer in the future.

“Platform” means any online software environment through which the Services are made available, including authenticated areas, web apps, subdomains, and mobile apps.

“User Content” means information, content, answers, messages, feedback, uploads, names, handles, testimonials, or other material that you submit, provide, record, or make available through the Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you are 18 or older.

The Services are not intended for minors. If we learn that a person under 18 has created an account or provided personal data, we may suspend the account and delete related personal data, subject to lawful retention obligations.

You must use the Services as a human individual or as an authorized representative of a business, venue, event organizer, community, brand, or other organization. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Automated account creation, bot use, scraping accounts, or accounts created by scripts are not permitted.

4. Accounts and Sign-In

4.1 Account Methods

You may create or access an account using supported authentication methods, including:

Email and password
Email magic link
Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Google

When you use Apple or Google sign-in, those providers authenticate you and share account information with us according to their own terms and privacy policies, such as your email address and, where available, display name.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials, devices, and sign-in links secure. Do not share your password, refresh token, or account access with another person.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us at support@bonded.studio.

4.3 Device and Network Responsibility

You are responsible for the device, operating system, browser, network connection, and mobile data plan you use to access the Services. You should keep your device secure and avoid modifying it in ways that reduce platform security, such as jailbreaking or rooting, unless you understand the risk.

We are not responsible for mobile data charges, roaming fees, internet-service charges, device compatibility issues, battery limitations, app-store account issues, or failures caused by your network, device, operating system, browser, or third-party platform.

4.4 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably up to date. We may reject or remove usernames, profile details, avatar configurations, or other account information that we believe are misleading, abusive, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate for the Services.

4.5 App Updates

We may issue updates to the App or website. Some features may not work unless you install the latest App version, use a supported operating system, or use a supported browser. We do not guarantee that every current or future feature will remain available on every device, region, operating system, browser, or app-store environment.

4.6 Account Deletion

You may delete your account from the App settings. Deleting your account removes your account record and credentials from the active user database. Some session, payment, gift, fraud-prevention, accounting, security, or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

Because sessions involve two participants, deleting your account may not delete all session records or Memory Capsule records for the other participant. Where technically supported, your user identifier may be removed or anonymized from shared records.

Deleting your Bonded account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. You must cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. See the Subscription Terms.

5. Website, Blog, Editorial Content, and Educational Materials

The bonded.studio website is a central part of Bonded Studio’s business. It may include blog articles, essays, educational materials, product information, SEO articles, founder writing, prompt collections, guides, media, embedded content, social links, downloadable resources, and related materials.

Our editorial and educational content is provided for general information, creative reflection, and personal use. It may discuss relationships, loneliness, dating, friendship, communication, intimacy, creativity, design, technology, and related topics. Such content is not individualized advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional care, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, psychological advice, or therapy. Additional content disclosures are available in the Disclosures & Disclaimer.

We may update, remove, rewrite, republish, archive, monetize, or stop maintaining any article or content at any time. Content may become outdated. We do not promise that all articles, guides, examples, recommendations, links, or statements will remain complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your circumstances.

We may use automated or AI-assisted tools to help research, draft, edit, translate, summarize, subtitle, repurpose, schedule, or analyze content. Human review may be applied depending on the channel and purpose, but we do not warrant that AI-assisted or human-written content is error-free.

6. Affiliate Links, Advertising, Sponsored Content, and Brand Relationships

The Site and related channels may include affiliate links, advertisements, sponsored content, paid placements, gifted products, referral links, brand collaborations, partner offers, or other commercial relationships. If you click an affiliate link or purchase through an affiliate or referral link, Bonded Studio may earn a commission or other benefit at no additional cost to you.

Sponsored content, affiliate content, ads, and brand partnerships do not change our commitment to editorial integrity, but they may influence which products, services, or brands are discussed or linked. You are responsible for evaluating whether any third-party product, service, tool, event, or offer is appropriate for you.

Third-party offers are provided by their respective providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not the seller, manufacturer, licensor, professional adviser, or support provider for third-party products or services linked from the Site. Your use of a third-party website, checkout, affiliate offer, advertisement, or sponsored product is governed by that third party’s terms, policies, and practices.

Where legally required, we will make reasonable efforts to identify sponsored or affiliate relationships in or near the relevant content. A failure to label a link in a particular format does not waive these Terms or make us responsible for a third-party product.

7. Newsletter, Email Content, and Community Communications

Bonded Studio may operate newsletters, waitlists, email updates, launch lists, email courses, product announcements, event invitations, and similar communications. By subscribing, you agree to receive the communications described at the point of signup.

Newsletters may include editorial content, prompts, product updates, links to Bonded Studio Services, affiliate links, sponsored content, offers, surveys, event invitations, or announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link where provided or by contacting us.

We may use Hostinger and other email or website providers to operate newsletter forms, mailing infrastructure, email delivery, hosting, analytics, or related functions.

8. Public Submissions, Community Features, and Social Experiments

Some Services may allow you to submit public or semi-public content, such as comments, testimonials, survey answers, event responses, wall posts, prompts, short messages, public-expression entries, social-experiment responses, or similar community contributions.

You are responsible for anything you submit. You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, privacy-invading, misleading, spam-like, infringing, malicious, or otherwise harmful. You must also have any rights, consents, and permissions required for names, images, voices, quotes, stories, handles, or other materials you provide.

We may review, reject, edit, hide, remove, archive, refuse to publish, or stop displaying User Content where we believe it violates these Terms, creates legal or safety risk, is outside the intended scope of a feature or event, or is inconsistent with the purpose of the relevant Service. We are not required to monitor all User Content, and publication of User Content does not mean we endorse it.

9. Guest Web Sessions

Bonded may allow a person to join a session through the web using a session code or link without creating a full Bonded account. Guest web participants may optionally provide an email address.

Guest session access is intended only for the person who was invited by the session host. Do not share guest links or codes publicly. We may invalidate guest access, expire sessions, or restrict joining if we suspect abuse, unauthorized access, or fraud.

Guest participants are still bound by these Terms when they use the web session experience.

10. Free and Premium Access

Bonded may offer free access and paid premium access. Free access may include a limited set of decks, limited hosted sessions, limited questions per session, or other product limits.

Bonded Premium may include:

Access to premium decks and future deck drops
Unlimited or expanded hosted sessions
More Private Pulse moments
Saved Memory Capsules
Connection Insights
Premium-only connection features, such as pings
Other features described in the App or on the Site

Feature availability may change over time. We may add, remove, rename, reorder, or modify decks, questions, intensity levels, features, limits, or premium benefits, provided that we do not materially reduce paid access during an active paid period without a lawful basis or appropriate remedy.

11. App Store Subscriptions

Bonded Premium may be offered in the iOS App through Apple App Store auto-renewable subscriptions. Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple, not by Bonded Studio.

If you start an App Store subscription:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID.
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal deadline shown by Apple.
Apple handles billing, cancellation, renewal notices, payment method updates, and refund requests.
We receive subscription status information through RevenueCat so we can activate or deactivate Premium access.

Prices may vary by country, currency, tax rules, Apple storefront, or promotional offer. The price shown in the App Store purchase sheet is the price that applies to your purchase.

12. Billing, Purchases, Taxes, and Checkout Providers

Purchases may be processed by the Checkout Provider presented to you at the point of purchase. Depending on the product and channel, this may include Apple, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, an ecommerce provider, or another payment or merchant-of-record provider.

When a Checkout Provider acts as Merchant of Record, that provider may be the contractual seller for the transaction and may handle payment processing, invoicing, receipts, VAT or other tax calculation and remittance, refund processing, chargebacks, payment disputes, payment security, and billing support under its own terms and policies.

Your payment contract for the transaction may be with the Checkout Provider, while your use of Bonded Studio Content, Digital Products, the App, and the Services remains governed by these Terms between you and Bonded Studio.

The Services may offer, now or in the future:

App Store subscriptions for Bonded Premium.
Fixed-duration Premium passes or promotional access.
Gift codes for fixed periods of Premium access.
One-time Digital Products, such as paid reports, ebooks, connection packs, templates, downloads, or gated content.
Lifetime-access products, where expressly described.
Physical Products, such as merchandise, art objects, cards, printed materials, or lifestyle objects.
Event tickets, workshops, installations, sponsored experiences, or other paid participation opportunities.

Unless expressly stated at checkout, web Premium passes and gift codes are fixed-duration digital products and are not auto-renewing subscriptions. If we introduce additional subscriptions, memberships, merch, art, physical goods, or paid experiences, the applicable pricing, renewal terms, shipping terms, cancellation terms, refund terms, and consumer disclosures will be presented at or before purchase where required.

Where a product is described as “lifetime access,” this means access for as long as we continue to make the relevant product or feature available through the Services under the purchasing account. Lifetime access is personal, non-transferable, and subject to suspension or termination for fraud, abuse, chargebacks, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.

13. Gift Codes

Gift codes may be purchased on the Site or issued by Bonded Studio. A gift code grants the Premium duration or access described at purchase, issuance, or redemption.

Bonded Studio may also distribute free promotional codes — for example, codes printed on physical cards distributed with merchandise or at events, or codes provided through the web-to-app funnel at start.bonded.studio. Free promotional codes grant the stated period of Premium access at no charge, carry no monetary value, are not exchangeable for cash, are single-use unless stated otherwise, and are personal and non-transferable. They may be limited in number and time and may be withdrawn, disabled, or revoked in cases of fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.

Gift codes:

May be single-use or limited-use
May have a start date, expiry date, redemption limit, campaign condition, or duration limit
Must be kept private because a person with the code may be able to redeem it
May not be resold, transferred for value, reverse engineered, brute forced, or used fraudulently
Are not redeemable for cash unless required by law

If a user with an active Premium period redeems a gift code, we may stack the gift period after the existing Premium period or apply it according to the redemption logic in effect at the time.

Lost, stolen, leaked, expired, disabled, depleted, or fraudulently obtained codes may not be replaced.

14. Refunds, Withdrawal Rights, Cancellations, and Consumer Rights

The Refund & Withdrawal Policy is the primary, consumer-facing statement of your refund, cancellation, and EU withdrawal rights and how they differ by purchase channel. This section summarises the key points; if there is any inconsistency for consumer-rights purposes, the Refund & Withdrawal Policy and mandatory law prevail.

14.1 App Store Purchases

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Bonded Studio cannot issue App Store refunds directly. To request an Apple refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or use Apple’s refund process.

14.2 Web and Checkout Provider Purchases

Refunds for web purchases, Digital Products, Physical Products, event tickets, and other checkout-provider purchases are handled according to the policy shown at checkout, your receipt, the applicable Checkout Provider’s policy, these Terms, and applicable consumer law.

Digital content and digital services may be supplied immediately. Where permitted by law, you may lose a statutory withdrawal right after immediate performance begins if you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that withdrawal rights may be lost.

Physical Products, if offered, may have separate shipping, returns, damage, customs, delivery, and cancellation terms shown at checkout or in a product-specific policy.

Unwarranted chargebacks, payment disputes, fraud, refund abuse, or misuse of promotional offers may result in loss of access, cancellation of orders, revocation of gift codes, or account suspension to the extent permitted by law.

14.3 EU Consumer Rights

If you are an EU consumer, you may have statutory rights under EU and national consumer law. For digital content or digital services, withdrawal rights may be limited where you request or consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that withdrawal rights may be lost once performance begins or is fully performed, as applicable.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under Greek, EU, or other applicable law.

15. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Services unlawfully or fraudulently
Use the Services to harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, or harm another person
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
Submit, upload, publish, transmit, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, violent, deceptive, privacy-invading, infringing, malicious, or otherwise objectionable
Send spam, unauthorized advertising, chain messages, pyramid schemes, unsolicited promotions, or deceptive commercial messages
Share another person’s session link, account information, or private session content without permission
Attempt to access sessions, accounts, APIs, systems, data, or infrastructure without authorization
Scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, bulk download, or data-mine the Services
Reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass technical restrictions except where allowed by law
Use Bonded content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning systems without written permission
Resell, sublicense, commercialize, publicly distribute, or exploit Bonded content without written permission
Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or degrade the Services
Abuse gift codes, payment systems, refunds, trials, promotions, or subscription flows
Misuse comments, forms, newsletter signups, community features, event registrations, surveys, or contact forms
Use our content, prompts, designs, brand, or materials to create a competing product or service without written permission
Upload or submit malicious code, harmful content, or deceptive information

We may suspend or terminate access, revoke Premium grants, invalidate gift codes, remove content, or take other reasonable action if we believe these Terms have been violated.

16. Intellectual Property

16.1 Our Content

The Services, including the Site, blog, articles, essays, newsletters, prompts, questions, decks, games, Private Pulse flows, Memory Capsule presentation, reports, assessments, connection packs, downloads, templates, videos, images, brand assets, illustrations, logos, designs, graphics, software, code, user interface, installations, products, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Bonded Studio and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, database, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own personal use, internal organizational use, or other use expressly allowed by the relevant product page, event terms, written agreement, or checkout terms, subject to these Terms.

16.2 Limited Personal Use

Unless a product page, event notice, license, checkout term, or written agreement says otherwise, you may access and use Bonded Studio Content for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, upload, distribute, sell, adapt, translate, scrape, train AI systems on, create derivative products from, or commercially exploit Bonded Studio Content without our prior written permission.

16.3 User Content

Some Services allow you to provide account details, onboarding preferences, optional profile information, gift messages, session decisions, testimonials, survey answers, comments, event answers, media releases, or feedback.

You keep any rights you have in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, support, and provide the Services, including displaying it to the intended participant where the feature requires it.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for any content or information you provide.

16.4 Feedback

If you send suggestions, ideas, feedback, or improvement requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

17. Privacy and Cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain personal data. Our Cookie Policy explains website cookies and similar technologies.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that we process personal data as described in those policies.

18. Marketing, Events, Filming, and Testimonials

Bonded Studio may create marketing content, social posts, SEO articles, prompt cards, founder posts, videos, event recaps, testimonials, case studies, or other media connected to Bonded.

We will not intentionally use identifiable private session content, Private Pulse values, Memory Capsules, account data, or identifiable footage of you in public marketing without a separate permission, release, or other lawful basis.

If you choose to participate in a filmed session, public activation, event, interview, testimonial, user research session, or similar campaign, the specific consent form, release, event notice, or campaign terms shown to you will explain how recordings, images, quotes, names, handles, answers, or testimonials may be used.

You are responsible for ensuring that any person whose image, voice, name, answer, or story you provide has given any permission required for that use.

Bonded Studio may use AI-assisted tools to help draft, edit, subtitle, repurpose, or schedule marketing and educational content. We do not grant those tools permission to use identifiable private session data unless you have expressly agreed to that specific use or we have another lawful basis.

19. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services, including Apple, Google, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, RevenueCat, Resend, Expo, Hostinger, Hetzner, Google Analytics, ecommerce providers, affiliate networks, advertising partners, sponsored-content partners, hosting providers, and other operational providers. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, account requirements, fees, refund rules, tracking technologies, and support processes.

We are not responsible for third-party services, payment platforms, app stores, identity providers, checkout providers, affiliate offers, advertisements, sponsored products, external websites, or embedded content except where applicable law provides otherwise.

20. Changes and Availability

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Services. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, browser, network, region, or app version.

Features labeled or described as beta, preview, experimental, invite-only, prototype, early access, or similar are provided for evaluation and may be changed, limited, reset, or discontinued at any time.

If we discontinue the Services entirely while you have an active paid fixed-duration Premium pass purchased directly through a web flow we control, we will provide a reasonable remedy required by law, which may include a prorated refund for unused paid access. App Store refund handling remains subject to Apple’s process.

21. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if:

You violate these Terms
We suspect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, payment misuse, or security risk
We are required to do so by law, app-store rule, payment-provider rule, court order, or regulator request
Continuing to provide access would create legal, technical, operational, or safety risk

You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue after termination, including intellectual property, payment, refund, disclaimer, limitation of liability, dispute, and retention-related provisions.

22. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

The Services will meet your expectations or produce any particular relationship outcome
Questions, insights, prompts, or suggestions will be accurate, complete, therapeutic, or suitable for your circumstances
You should make, continue, end, or change any relationship based only on the Services
Third-party links, affiliate products, sponsored products, ads, merch, art, or physical products will meet your expectations or be suitable for your circumstances
The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times
Defects will be corrected immediately

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bonded Studio, Sapphire Labs, its owner, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, use, or opportunity, arising from or related to the Services or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

The amount you paid directly for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bonded Studio, Sapphire Labs, its owner, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to:

Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of the Services
Your violation of law or third-party rights
Content or information you provide through the Services
Your use of the Services on behalf of a business, venue, event organizer, community, brand, or other organization without authority

This section does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by email, in-app notice, website notice, or requiring renewed acceptance where appropriate.

The “Last updated” date above shows when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of acceptance.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Subject to mandatory consumer protection rights, the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Services.
