Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This Refund & Withdrawal Policy explains your cancellation, withdrawal, and refund rights for Bonded Studio purchases, and how those rights differ by purchase channel. It is part of the Bonded Studio legal set and supplements the Terms of Service, Subscription Terms, and Privacy Policy. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights under Greek, EU, or other applicable law.

1. How Bonded products are sold

Your refund route depends on who processed your purchase:

PurchaseChannel / sellerWho handles refunds
Bonded Premium auto-renewable subscription (iOS)Apple App Store (Apple is the seller)Apple
Bonded Premium Pass (web, one-time)start.bonded.studio / bonded.studio via Paddle (Merchant of Record)Paddle, per this policy and applicable law
Gift codes (purchased)Paddle / the checkout shown at purchasePer this policy and the checkout terms
Free promotional codes (e.g. on physical cards)Issued by Bonded, no paymentNot applicable (no charge)

2. EU/EEA right of withdrawal (14 days) and its limits for digital content

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), starting the day of the transaction.

Important digital-content exception. Bonded Premium (web pass and subscription) and gift codes are digital content/services supplied immediately. Under Article 16(m) of the Directive, you lose the right of withdrawal once supply has begun where, at checkout, you:

  1. give prior express consent to begin immediate supply during the 14-day period; and
  2. acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once supply begins; and
  3. we (or the Merchant of Record) provide confirmation of the contract.

We (and Paddle at web checkout) request this consent and acknowledgement before access is granted. If you have not yet started/received the digital content and the waiver conditions were not met, you may withdraw within 14 days for a refund. To withdraw, email support@bonded.studio with your order details; you may use the EU model withdrawal form but are not required to.

3. Apple App Store purchases (iOS subscriptions)

Refunds for App Store purchases, including Bonded Premium auto-renewable subscriptions, are handled by Apple, not Bonded Studio. We cannot issue, approve, or deny App Store refunds.

  • Request an Apple refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Apple decides refund requests under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
  • To stop future renewals, cancel your subscription in your Apple subscription settings (see Subscription Terms §5). Cancelling stops renewal but does not by itself refund the current period.

4. Web purchases processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record)

For the web Bonded Premium Pass and web gift-code purchases, Paddle.com Market Ltd is the Merchant of Record (an authorised reseller and the contractual seller for the payment). Paddle handles payment, tax, receipts, and refund processing under its own buyer terms. For payment, receipt, or billing queries you can also contact Paddle directly at help@paddle.com or via paddle.net. Under Paddle’s buyer terms, EU/EEA and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal unless the digital product has already been accessed during that period (see Section 2).

  • Statutory rights first. Where you have a non-waivable statutory right to a refund (for example, faulty or materially misdescribed digital content — see Section 6), we will honour it.
  • Discretionary refunds. The web Premium Pass is a one-time purchase of immediately-supplied digital access; outside your statutory rights, refunds are at our and Paddle’s reasonable discretion. We generally consider requests made within 14 days where access has not been substantially used.
  • How to request: email support@bonded.studio with your Paddle order ID (from your receipt). Approved web refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle.

5. Gift codes and free promotional codes

  • Purchased gift codes grant the Premium duration described at purchase and are non-refundable once redeemed. Before redemption, an unredeemed purchased gift code may be refundable under Sections 2 and 4 if the digital-content waiver conditions were not met.
  • Free promotional codes (for example, codes printed on physical cards) carry no monetary value, are not exchangeable for cash, and are not refundable because no payment is taken.
  • Codes may be single-use or limited-use and may carry start dates, expiry dates, redemption limits, or campaign conditions. Lost, stolen, leaked, expired, disabled, depleted, or fraudulently obtained codes are not replaced. See Terms of Service §13.

6. Faulty, misdescribed, or non-conforming digital content

EU/EEA (and other) consumer law gives you rights if digital content or a digital service does not conform to what was described or does not work as it should (Digital Content Directive 2019/770, as implemented). If Bonded Premium is faulty or materially not as described, contact us and we will work to bring it into conformity or, where appropriate and required by law, provide a price reduction or refund. These statutory rights are not removed by the digital-content withdrawal waiver in Section 2.

7. Chargebacks, fraud, and abuse

Initiating an unwarranted chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us, or engaging in refund abuse, promotional-code abuse, or fraud, may result in loss of Premium access, cancellation of orders, revocation of gift codes or grants, and account suspension, to the extent permitted by law. Please contact support@bonded.studio first — most issues are resolved quickly.
